License Plate

A coworker Mike from Houston was eating lunch with us several weeks ago, I was telling him about the Coronet and how cool it was, he said he would like to see the car, we went out to take a look. When he saw the car he got this huge smile on his face and asked if he could take a picture of the car, I said no problem, take all the pictures you want.

I saw him in a meeting a couple of hours later, he said he had sent one of the pictures to his mom, turns out she had a 67 Coronet years ago, SHE STILL REMEMBERED THE LICENSE PLATE NUMBER of her car, she was 80 years old!

That was one of the neatest comments I have had about the Coronet.

4th of July

We were cruising Billings on the evening of the 4th of July, we came rolling up on to a stop light, on the right side there was a biker dude sitting waiting for the light, when we came to a stop he looked over and said "Now that's some badass shit!"

Coronet Blog Diary

Friday the 26th I got off work and went to Wilson Dunham's gas station for a fill of 91 octane,my gas gauge only goes to 1/2 when full so when it shows empty Its time to pay attention to how far I have driven. A couple of guys came out and started looking at the Coronet, they both worked at the station (one of the last FULL serve) stations on the planet I believe.

The guys started talking about how they liked old cars and one of the guys had a 69 Dodge Challenger, I said I never really realized how many people would give me a thumbs up or start up a conversation about the car or someone who knew someone that had a car like this one, etc, etc... The guy also said he had a Ford Model A or maybe a Model T, I can't remember, anyway he said so many people had comments on his car that he kept a diary book in the car and would jot down all his interesting meetings and experiences when he drove the car.

That got me to thinking I should start a diary for the Coronet, the wife gave me a log book I put in the car but I also thought it would be cool to put together a 67 Coronet Blog, so here we are...
